The gambling tycoon put his three-bedroom condo in the upscale Tribeca area on the market for $8 million, a bit lower than the $8.1 million that property records show was paid for it eight years prior. Zhauyrov's Olympus wager has a Curacao gaming license and is allowed to accept bets in Russia, but it is seen as a gray or even black market operator in many parts of Western Europe and is unavailable to bettors in North America. 

The reason behind Zhauyrov's sale of his Tribeca apartment remains uncertain, yet it represents the newest expensive listing in New York City from a giant in the gaming sector. In December, Steve Wynn reduced the price of his 10,875-square-foot penthouse, situated on the 30th and 31st floors of 50 Central Park South, by $20 million, suggesting he’s willing to, at most, break even on that property. 

Zhauyrov Possesses Several Expensive US Real Estate Holdings 

The Tribeca condominium available for sale is among several US properties, both commercial and residential, owned by Zhauyrov, who is wanted in his home nation for tax evasion. 

According to the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), he owns five apartments in New York City and a mansion in the suburbs. In 2021, the group evaluated the worth of the bookmaker’s New York assets at $16.4 million collectively, but that amount is probably much greater now. 

He possesses a multi-million-dollar condo in Boston, an apartment and office complex in Miami, and a luxury apartment in Bal Harbor, FL. Four years ago, his Florida residential real estate assets were valued at approximately $14.3 million in total, but that figure is probably significantly higher now. 

OCCRP reports that Zhauyrov resides in the US, where he allegedly derives most of his income by leasing out some of the mentioned properties. 

His spouse and sibling are designated as the legitimate proprietors of the firms managing Olympus and associated online sportsbooks, yet certain legal professionals believe this is merely a legal tactic to shield Anarbek Zhauyrov from legal scrutiny. In 2022, accounts linked to Olympus with $212 million were confiscated, and Russia's Internal Ministry of Affairs promised to collaborate with Kazakh authorities to access the funds and hold possible criminals accountable. 

“The Department of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Almaty, together with the prosecutor’s office, initiated a pre-trial investigation into the organization of an illegal gambling business by the administration of the Olimp bookmaker,” reporst RusCrime. 

Zhauyrov Lives Large, Displays it on Social Media 

Zhauyrov is unreserved in showcasing his opulent lifestyle and riches on social media, where he has a large following of various Russian celebrities. 

One of his Instagram posts features him at the Bellagio on the Las Vegas Strip, while another captures him in Bal Harbor alongside renowned French footballer Thierry Henry. 

Other updates display him visiting Bora Bora and Brazil or showcasing his car collection, which features a Rolls Royce Phantom. The 2025 model of that vehicle may have a price exceeding $613,000.
